Welcome from the Executive Headteacher, Michelle Reysenn

I would like to introduce myself to pupils and families. I am the permanent Headteacher at Notton House Academy, a residential special school in Wiltshire for boys aged 8-18. I have been in post at Notton since 2018, and have over 22 years’ experience in education.
For the next two terms, up until the end of this academic year, I will be Interim Headteacher at Brook Academy, and Executive Headteacher for Learn@ MAT. I am the Designated Safeguarding Lead at both Brook Academy and Notton House Academy. I will oversee all matters related to safeguarding, concerns and complaints, recruitment, staffing, and health and safety. Zoe Jenkins, interim Deputy Head Teacher, and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, will continue to oversee all daily operational matters including staffing, cover, pupil timetables, behaviour, attendance, and the quality of education. Rebecca Mullins, is now the academy SENDCo and will lead on all new admissions, Annual Reviews, and liaising with external professionals.
The focus for the next two terms is safety and safeguarding. By now, all pupils should have received home learning packs or an email with details of what is expected each day. Your child’s tutor will contact you each day to check on progress made, and in some cases, home visits will be conducted. Later this week, a letter will be sent home to inform you of the class group, curriculum plan, timetable, and staff allocated to support your child, for the next two terms.
